NADAH EL SHAZLY

A singer and composer from Cairo, Nadah El Shazly is a voice of white Africa who communicates without bounds, as we know her, in the great Mediterranean alliance that unites the peoples of this part of the planet. In an era of limitless dialectical potential, that someone is able to speak to us through and out of pure emotion and musical consequence is a clear indication of the magnitude of the art in question.

She became involved in various artistic-politicized undertakings along with Sam Shalabi or Alan Bishop, in addition to people who shall remain nameless in this Europe of interventionist anonymity, beyond the nameless Arab Spring, with repercussions which none of us can measure – this is the axis of the true distance.
